DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS WORKSHOP--If you are making all the money you want and more, AND you have no interest in advancing your career, AND are accomplishing all your career and life goals. Otherwise, read on.
What kind of workshop is it?
Bold Moves is a powerful group experience in which you will identify and addresses limiting belief structures in your life that keep you from being fully satisfied in your life-work. Jack Chapman and Steve Frederick take you on a journey inside yourselves so that you not only figure out what the ideal job/career or life-work looks like, but you're empowered to go a BOLD MOVE on the path to achieving it.
Those who have participated may wish to share this with spouses, friends, and others.
Will it help me move forward?
With this workshop, we've helped 345 people take a giant step closer to satisfaction and succession in their work life. (Read some participant comments, below).
BOLD MOVES is not job hunting, resume-writing, networking, job search, etc., training. RATHER, it moves you on the inside to attain the inner clarity, passion, and focus that lead to big financial rewards and big heart-felt satisfaction.
What are the costs?
Free: Voluntary donation according to your means. Proceeds go to Victories of the Heart scholarship fund.
A Note from VOH
Knowing how imortant career issues are for men, we are delighted to recommend this workshop that challenges our stale, unhelpful beliefs about life, career, and ourselves.
The fresh perspective has helped many people to see new possibilities and get out of
their ruts. - Kurt Schultz
Who are we?
Steve Frederick and Jack Chapman have been providing lasting and lucrative career solutions for people since 1981. Jack is a nationally known author of the best-selling "bible of salary negotiations": "Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make $1,000 a Minute" and is Executive Director of the Private Practice Alliance -- a national association of Career Advisors in Private Practice. Besides being a career coach, Steve has owned a resume service and has been a regular career columnist with the Pioneer Press and the Daily Herald. They have assisted hundreds of people in making career transitions.
Why does this description say "Life-Work" instead of Career?
Because Life-Work is not always a job/career. One participant said, "I am retired. I came with much cynicism, and even gave Jack and Steve a hard time -- to start. However I learned so much about the beliefs holding me back from my dream. Anything is possible when letting those beliefs go." J.P. moved from "Someday, maybe, he'd possibly paint, but until then, he'd mostly watch TV." to "At the next meeting I'll bring the first three art works that will form the basis of my teaching art to men who never knew they had it in them."
Why is it free?
Jack and Steve are recent VOH graduates, and would like to benefit the organization, enhance people's careers, and, coincidentally, make themselves and their career services known in communities of empowered men and women. Donating our time and expertise in this workshop exclusively for VOH grads seemed the right thing to do -- Buddy and Kurt agreed.
Testimonials from participants
I looked at my obstacles. I saw them for what they are and are not. I understood why I have them. Then I decided on a bold move around an obstacle I chose. There's fear in this work, and there's joy. I've heard it said that "everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die." I found an obstacle that can die and unlock heaven for me. Bob Russell
Seeing the same thing from a new perspective is what makes Escher's work what it is. That's what happened for me in Bold Moves. I allowed the process in order to see the added dimensions and ambiguities. Andy Lipman
Bold Moves helped me be in touch with what goes on inside other men and that resonates with me. I see once again my central career concerns are not so much about career pr se, but about personal and working relationships. This helped me to think through some work wants and needs, some environment wants and needs and a forward step to take. Gerry Kirschbaum
I found this workshop helpful in beginning to believe that I can have my "dream career" in spite of my various limiting fears and beliefs about myself and my world. I'm hopeful and optimistic that my action plan will be fun, exciting and productive. Best wishes in actualizing your dreams! Rich Stowell
I felt stuck in not being able to make "bold moves" that would help my career. This workshop gave me clarity and power to look at what was keeping me stuck and move through it. Golden Fox Ron Harris
This was a surprisingly simple process that revealed some deep truths. In this workshop, I was able to ask myself some tough questions I had been afraid of before. And now I can act on and embrace the answers. The results were fulfilling. Good Luck. Phil Abramson
I looked at what I believe is holding me back, and I acknowledged it and moved powerfully towards my goals. Lou Lautman
